Research Technologist

Kimberly Wurth is a research technologist at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and has been working in the Clean Chemistry Team of the Nuclear and Radiochemistry Group for two years. She received her master’s degree in geochemistry from Western Washington University in 2019. For her current position at LANL, her focus shifted to the field of Nuclear Forensics where she specializes in scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and assists with secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS).
