Chris Russo is a group leader in the Structural Studies Division of the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK. He received his BS and BA degrees in electrical engineering and philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, and his PhD in applied physics from Harvard University in 2010. His research focuses on the physical phenomena that limit electron imaging in biology. His awards include the Microscopy Society of America Burton Medal for 2017.
