Graduated from UNAM with a degree in Metallurgical Chemical Engineering. She has two master's degrees; one in Chemical Engineering in the area of Materials granted by the UNAM and another in Technologies for Sustainable Development by the Anahuac University. She also has a specialty in Sustainable Development and a Diploma in Social Responsibility by the Anahuac University. She is currently in charge of the Environmental Engineering laboratories and has taught 12 courses: Mathematics Applied to Health Sciences, Materials and Productive Processes II: Metals, General Biology, Bioremediation, Environmental Modeling, Sustainable Biotechnological Processes, Environmental Toxicology, Research Project and Development, and Laboratories regarding Thermodynamics, Analytical Chemistry for Biological Systems, Organic Chemistry for Biological Systems, and Chemistry, all throughout her 12 years of academic career at the undergraduate level. It is worth highlighting her participation in various national and international conferences, as well as her several publications at indexed journals. She has also participated in industry consultancies. Her main research topics are: Advanced materials and Bioremediation (especially focused on phytoremediation and mycoremediation).
