I´m Minerva Frutis Murillo, doctoral intern at the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo at the Instituto de Investigaciones en Materiales y Metalurgia in Morelia, México. By formation I'm a biochemical engineer, with a master's degree in molecular biology. Currently the research that I have developed in the working group is focused on the study and characterization of nanomaterials obtained by green chemistry and applied in biological issues, such as treatment of cancer cells or search of alternative antimicrobial therapies.
