Dr. Ute Golla-Schindler, Diploma in physics: Measurement of Transmission and Backscattering in Low-Voltage Scanning Electron Microscopy at the University of Muenster, Germany. Ph.D. in Physics: Investigation of Resolution and Detection limits in element distribution images. One year application specialist scanning electron microscopy for Carl Zeiss NTS GmbH in Oberkochen. Lecturer and research scientist in the Institute of Mineralogy at the University Muenster. Leader of the electron microscopy laboratory working on exsolution phenomena and magnetic properties in minerals and the toxicology of nanoparticles and involved in the SATEM/SESAM project with Zeiss. in the STREP (strategy and target research European project: Cell Nano Tox). Starting 2010 in the electron microscopy group of material science at the University of Ulm. Working in the SALVE (Sub Ångström Low-Voltage Transmission Electron Microscopy) project on radiation damage effects in electron microscopy and group leader for battery materials. Since April 2016 senior research scientist in the material research institute at the University of Aalen. Working in the field of scanning electron microscopy on energy related materials.
