I am a recent PhD graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Materials Science & Engineering working for Prof. Jian-Min Zuo. In addition, I was a Graduate Researcher at Argonne National Laboratory through the U.S. DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research Award working for Dr. Daniel Abraham. I am currently working in semiconductor R&D at Lam Research Corporation.
My primary work during my PhD involves characterization of battery materials across a range of length scales -- from mm to sub-nm. My expertise is in the application of advanced electron microscopy and diffraction methods (with a particular emphasis on new 4D-STEM methods) to uncover nanoscopic phase and structural evolution in battery materials. In addition, I have done extensive S/TEM work on research efforts in 2D materials, nanoelectronics, and other materials systems.
